I love Korean food, there’s so much variety and great options This small mom & pop shop in California market serves the freshest kimbap I usually order it instead of getting the premade boxes because they’re made fresh to order. Ordered: Tuna kimbap (2 rolls) Beef kimbap (2 rolls) Price: $8 each box This is such a great and healthy quick meal to have whenever you’re running low on time. I especially love the tuna kimbap, it tastes so good with sesame oil & perilla leaf! I’ve been obsessed w/ this meal lately so I tried getting the Trader Joe’s kimbap but apparently they’re sold out everywhere until October

This is a food counter at California Market that sells different types of kimbap. They are reasonably priced and filling. While there is limited seating to sit within the grocery store to enjoy your meal, you can take it upstairs to the nice rooftop seating area above the store as there are plenty of tables up there and the atmosphere is much better.

Tucked away in the back of California Market, this place sells the best kimbob in the greater Los Angeles area. They have various kinds of kimbob ranging from tuna, ham, sausage, beef, etc. There are tables inside for indoor dining. Free parking in the parking garage. No validation required.

Gaju Kimbap!! This is the best kimbap spot in LA! It’s not particularly fancy or flashy—it’s just like the kimbap your mom would make. There’s nothing overly special about it, but the seasoning of the ingredients is just right, and everything blends together perfectly. Plus, the prices are still very affordable, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal, even on your own.

My usual kimbap place. Price has gone up through the years. Used to be $6 but now it’s almost $8 for kimbap. Wide variety all pre-made for a quick grab and go. They offer other affordable Korean fish options as well and the taste is decent. 4.5 stars. It’s located in the far back corner of CA Market. There are limited seating but it’s best to take out due to smell and noise.

Not being from the area, I was exploring inside the supermarket and found this place by the corner of the supermarket and was pleasantly surprised! It is is a more casual setting place with a few seats. They sell great quality gimbap for what you pay for and have such a wide variety.
